The community has always been a top priority of mine. I am a native to the central valley. Both my parents are working-class people. I come from a home of good work ethics. I had seen so much potential in the central valley while growing up. This is why I volunteer most of my time helping our valley out. I enjoy giving back to the community every chance that I get.
Currently serves as the president of the Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the LGBTQ+ Business Initiative for the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. While representing and being involved in the community I am employed at the Tulare and Kings County Warm Line as well as Nate Wingert’s State Farm Agency.
Thus, still finding time to be a full-time student at the California State University of Fresno. I have received a BA in Sociology and is now working on my Master’s in Social Work. I plan to work for Child Welfare
Services in Kings County helping undeserved families.

As the president of the Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which represents over 300 businesses in those respected counties, I have found a new way to put my skills for helping the community out in a different way. I have always believed that to have a thriving community we must have thriving businesses within it. This was my calling to the Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Currently, I am on my 4 th term, as the Board President. During my second term, I was recognized at the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce State Convention, with the Oscar de la Hoya Award for my community involvement.
Some proud community events that I was to be a part of in CD 21 was the Turkey Drive in Earlimart that was put on by the Tulare County Latino Rotary Club, Assemblymember Rudy Salas’ Toy Drive, and Senator Hurtado’s Baby Formula Drive. I have also outreached to share resources for behavioral health in Lemoore, Hanford, Avenal, and other rural towns in Kings County for the Tulare Kings County Warm Line. If there is anything that I can do for the community of Kings County I am just a call away and am always glad to be of service.
My vision for the Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2021 is to do more activities and have a bigger presence in Kings County. We as the Hispanic Chamber were happy and excited to roll out the monthly Hanford Ambassador Luncheon. We look forward to doing more for our Kings County Businesses in helping them grow and assist them in any way that we can to be successful.
