Organization history
Of how it starts
One purpose of this organization is to provide entrepreneurial training through various seminars, distribution of literature and providing a conduit to other business resources available – commercial and governmental. This will be an ongoing process, which will comprise 75% of the activity and resources of the organization.
The organization will also provide academic scholarships to qualifying individuals. Qualification will be based on financial needs and academic achievements. Family members of the Board will not be eligible. The total scholarship shall not exceed $10,000 per year.
Mentoring and other student training programs will be accomplished by direct contact with area schools.

Statement
The mission of this organization is to support the Tulare Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s work in economic development directly and to support academic and professional education throughout Tulare and Kings Counties by offering and supporting programs for youth that promote education, encourage business development, and provide leadership training.
